"Gemeinsam halten wir Geschichte in der Luft"

 

Der Hunterverein Obersimmental bricht zu neuen Horizonten auf. Im Frühling 2024 konnte der Verein aus dem Bestand des Air Force Center Dübendorf eine Dornier DO 27 H-2 und eine Noorduyn Aviation AT-16 Harvard IIb übernehmen. Während die DO 27 H-2 für die Ausstellung in St. Stephan vorbereitet wird, wird die AT-16 mit der Nr. U-328 am Flugplatz Bleienbach vom neugegründeten Verein U-328 wieder flugtüchtig gemacht.

Dieser hat die Aufgabe das Projekt zu leiten, den Wiederaufbau durchzuführen und später den Betrieb des Flugzeuges zu gewährleisten. Das Flugzeug wird so original wie möglich erhalten und in Zukunft wieder in St. Stephan für die Bevölkerung zugänglich gemacht.

The Obersimmental Hunter association is moving on to new horizons. In spring 2024, the association was able to acquire a Dornier DO 27 H-2 and a Noorduyn Aviation AT-16 Harvard IIb from the Air Force Center Dübendorf. While the DO 27 H-2 is being prepared for exhibition in St. Stephan, the AT-16 with the number U-328 will be made airworthy again at Bleienbach airfield by the newly founded U-328 association.

His task is to managing the project, carrying out the reconstruction and later ensuring the operation of the aircraft. The aircraft will be preserved as original as possible and will be made accessible to the public in St. Stephan in the future.
